Towards the end of the year, Instagram has decided to roll out two more innovations. Two new features are now available to users. Not for everyone, though.
First, let's discuss Notes. These are short notes that contain only text and emoji. It essentially works like a status that sits in the header of the directive and at first glance looks almost like a stories. It works in about the same way.
And it's only seen by those you want to show it to (mutual subscribers or people in the Close Friends section). To leave a note, go to the top of your inbox.
The message will be available to the recipient within 24 hours. But replies to notes will come in private messages.
Another update is the Candid Stories feature. It will allow you to share photos in real time (analogous to BeReal). It's pretty much the same as the stories we're used to. True, they won't be shown to everyone, but only to those users who post the same content.
By the way, there is a slight disadvantage (and for some, a plus). Instagram will remind you daily to take such a photo. Relax, it can be turned off.
The social network is also testing group profiles. Users will be able to share posts and stories in a shared profile with their friends. The content will only be available to group members.
So far, the new features are only being tested in Canada, Chile and Taiwan, media reports said.
Maybe some of our subscribers are lucky enough to have already tried them out for themselves?
