Show a live presentation, change picture settings, or broadcast an already recorded video? Now it's possible.
Instagram has launched Live Producer. The new tool allows you to go live from your desktop PC. And what's more, the social network allows the use of streaming software: OBS, Streamyard or Streamlabs. These services are used by streamers on Twitch. The programs allow you to create professional video with switching cameras and microphones, with cues and skewers.
You may have already encountered this software when hosting live events on YouTube. However, Instagram has its own format requirements (leaf through the carousel).
To start broadcasting, open the web version of Instagram. Then click "Add New Post" and select "Live Broadcast." The tool is still being tested, so the interface may not have appeared to everyone yet. If you already have everything in place, go ahead.
Ahead of us is a screen with the broadcast settings. Copy the broadcast key from here (it is a constantly changing code), it should be pasted into the application settings for broadcasting - the same OBS, Streamyard, Streamlabs and others.
That's all! All that's left is to customize the broadcast.
