Instagram Shopping will be available in Russia from July 2021. This was told by marketer Nail Zakirov in his Telegram channel.
He talked to Facebook's support service. There he confirmed this information. At the moment, this feature is only available to a small number of stores.
How will Shopping Tags work?
It's something like users' tags in a photo, only instead of people, it's an item. A user looks at a picture and sees that it has product tags on it. If he touches the image, tooltip product tags pop up with the name of the product, its price, and dimensions.
The customer can click on the product he likes, go to the product card and make a purchase.
