Our clients often contact us with the problem of blocking the Facebook ad account. Many people who are promoting in social networks are familiar with this situation. To help you avoid such blockages, we have prepared a short guide.
An advertising account can be blocked for:
- unsuccessful attempts to write off funds from the card;
- the constant change of accounts in one browser;
- a sharp increase in advertising costs;
- a sharp increase in activity after a long period of inactivity;
- log in to an advertising account from Crimea;
- providing “Administrator” access to a person who has a blocked account;
- using a hacked/brute-account;
- advertising of prohibited materials;
- violation of someone's copyright;
- complaints about your advertisements;
- mismatch of the page with the advertisement;
- use of prohibited scripts on the page;
- redirecting a user to another site from yours.
What to do if banned?
First, start rebuilding your ad account. If you are sure that you have not violated the Facebook rules, feel free to appeal the ban through the "Contact us" button. But get ready for the fact that this process is long - they will answer you for a long time.
If your business processes are suffering, take someone else's advertising office for temporary use. But do not change anything in it to the data from the blocked account. Including payment information.
We advise you not to create a new account. An additional ad account will result in permanent blocking of both. Regardless of the reason for the first ban, you are making a gross mistake by brutally breaking Facebook rules.
