Blocking for counterfeiting
Instagram is fighting counterfeiting, copyright, trademark and intellectual property infringement in general in all the variety of what and how it can be infringed).
Is that a bad thing? Not at all. No one likes to be on the other side of the barricades where they infringe on you with impunity and you can't do anything about it.
But there are two sides to every truth.
Being engaged in solving problems with Instagram for more than 7 years, we can distinguish two categories of those who are blocked by Instagram for this kind of violations (let's consider first of all blocking for selling counterfeit or trademark infringement):
1. those who openly say that they sell copies of things, shoes, jewelry, watches and so on.
They consciously go to the risks, although sometimes not all realize that by writing that it is a copy, you do not save yourself, but only prompt the Instagram algorithms that you are a violator (yes, more often the ban from the algorithms, not from brands)
2. those who sell legitimate goods - stores, big and small, buyers, "resellers", etc.
This activity is legal in most countries, there are nuances with the documents and sometimes complain white dealers on the "gray", but more often blocked by Instagram algorithms that consider content prohibited (recently very often, it feels like the algorithm said kuchi)
Is there an escape from being blocked?
Don't violate))) that's the easiest option) and don't post pictures of brands, even if what you're selling is legal.
Can't work? Agreed, bad option.
Minimize the use of "branded" tags, less brand logos in photos.
If suddenly you're in the gray side of the business and you're selling copies (even if LUX QUALITY), don't post it on Instagram, tell the client directly (you're an honest person in this, right? and won't pass off a fake as an original).
Will it save 100%? No, but it will reduce the risks.
Those who are on the white side they are especially offended by these blockings - "I did not violate anything". From the position of Instagram rules yes, and from the position of brands too, but the algorithm considered otherwise.
Can Instagram be restored when blocked for counterfeiting?
Someday Instagram will work perfectly and only the "villains" will be punished, I wish I could live to see this bright future).
