Meta Expands Account Management Capabilities in Business Suite: What You Need to Know
Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has introduced an important update to its Meta Business Suite platform (previously known as Creator Studio and Business Manager). The new feature will allow users to connect up to 10 profiles to a single account, significantly simplifying the process of managing multiple business presences on social media.
Jonas Manzano, one of the first users of the update, shared a screenshot of the new functionality, demonstrating the ease of switching between different profiles without the need to continuously log in and out.
The key distinction of this update is that it specifically pertains to user profiles rather than business pages. Previously, Meta Business Suite allowed users to add multiple business pages to one portfolio; however, now users will be able to manage pages associated with different profiles from a single interface.
This innovation is particularly useful for marketers and social media managers who frequently work with multiple brands or clients, each of which may require a separate profile for management.
It is worth noting, however, that this update also indirectly highlights the prevalence of multiple account use among Meta users, which could potentially impact the accuracy of the active user statistics for the platform.
Although the new feature may appear niche, it represents a significant enhancement for professionals managing numerous pages and profiles within the Meta ecosystem. This update is yet another step by the company towards optimising tools for businesses and content creators striving to effectively manage their digital presence.
